The inseparability of life

We say we are One, but do we really understand what that means. We can say it over and over again until we are blue in the face and, yet, if we are truthful, we believe it as a faraway idea that someday, if we work hard enough on ourselves, we will get it. To the mind the idea of Oneness is a concept. It cannot grasp it - for it thinks in opposites and concepts.

What needs to shift is how we use the mind to understand Oneness. Allowing the mind to rest in the Silence is always advisable. Once the mind relaxes and is not so attached to its concrete thoughts then a higher knowing awakens. The door to intuition opens. Perception begins to clear. As we allow the mind to relax into its source we begin to notice and perceive reality in a more expansive way.

Understanding is an excellent tool to get the mind to see how interconnected it is with all of life. It certainly gives the mind something to do and one gets to put into action an innate gift. There is lots of scientific research easily available pointing to our connectedness. We breath in rhythm with plants. If it were not for the clashing of stars billions of years ago our hearts would not be beating.

While understanding our interconnectedness is a step - it is far from the reality of our true nature which is expansive, clear, pristine and has no beginning or ending.
